Description

Middlesbrough Music Live will be back with a bang on Sunday June 6 after a record-breaking day last year

Last year’s 10th anniversary of Middlesbrough Music Live was hailed as the ‘best ever’ after a record crowd of over 50,000 people flocked to the Town Centre (on Sunday 7 June 2009).

Top names including The Zutons, Noah & The Whale, Frank Turner and South London rapper Master Shortie were among over 100 acts who played at what both The Sunday Times and Daily Telegraph described as one of the ‘top 100’ festivals of the summer.

And this year, over 100 bands and performers will again feature on around 10 stages right in the heart of the Town Centre.

Local bands will also get chance to grab a spot on the hugely popular Homegrown Stage.

Organised by Middlesbrough Council in partnership with local promoters Ten Feet Tall, Music Live is now firmly established as one of the freshest and best-respected free festivals in the country.
