So we left that hint in our last post and now we are thrilled to announce that the digestif has been distilled, bottled and is ready for delivery! And you are invited to join the extravaganza! South Of Mainstream Festival calls out for detention! Based on this weird feeling not having said everything and born from the frustration about some of our favourite bands having to cancel the final edition of South Of Mainstream Festival in 2012 and some bands we couldn’t book for various other reasons we decided to get together again and bring some of these bands together on a stage. The whole idea was brought up by our good friend Marco from Octacle Booking and Friction Festival and he’s also the one behind the whole organisation of these events. On three evenings in February we present two shows in Leipzig and two shows in Berlin with 4 bands each. All income from these shows will go towards the dramatic financial loss we had to swallow from the festival. We have made it clear how we think about this fact in general in the elaborate below and we hope you don’t take this as moaning or begging (that’s why we didn’t come up with a Kickstarter project or something) but it remains a fact: we need some money. And we couldn’t think of any better way than to try it once more with what we like best: music. So there you have it. We hope to see you all in Leipzig and Berlin. And look at this line-up! I mean, seriously – it’s gonna be a blast!
All shows will start at 19:30 sharp and end at midnight.
Tickets will be sold for both nights in each city for a combination price of 20 EUR in advance. You can purchase these tickets here:

This combination ticket is only available on pre-sale. Day tickets will be available at the door for the price of 13 EUR per show night (if the shows aren’t sold out before through combi tickets). Presale starts on December 1st 2012!
