Yes Monash it's that time of year again where we would like to cordially invite you to what promises to be an evening full of good times and killer rhymes on the Menzies Lawn for Music on Menzies 2013.
Gracing the stage as our major headliner will be LAST DINOSAURS!!! We kid you not. If you missed their national Satellites tour last year, here's your chance. Last Dinos, live in the flesh - "nuff' said. Their music is anything but extinct and quite frankly if you aren't familiar with these young lads already, we don't know where the hell you've been.
Secondly, we have some of Melbourne's sickest DJ's in the form of Yacht Club DJ's who will be performing their mash-up godliness for the pleasure of your ears. An Aussie fav,Yacht Club DJs have been sound-tracking events such as Splendour, Parklife, Falls and are now joining the MoM party!
But the fun doesn't stop there, what may be the most promising act for 2013 and ultimate party kings TWINSY will be bringing their explosive live set to the Menzies lawn. With their hit track "Water Bombs" being the third most played song on Triple J for 2013, we're super pumped.
Also providing super rad DJ entertainment to your ears will be NAYSAYER AND GILSUN. A Monash favourite, their electric DJ set promises not to disappoint even the pickiest of musical palettes.
Following the Music on Menzies Launch Party. One band blew the audience away, and, have gained themselves a spot on the Music on Menzies bill. RETURN TO YOUTH will be gracing the opening slot for what will be a spectacular night.
