Jamaica might be the original home of dancehall, but New York City can certainly lay claim to some of the genre’s shining moments. Now we’re bringing a wide range of current, future and pioneering dancehall artists together for a massive, free daytime party under the Brooklyn skies. Featuring a special set by dub master and sound system ruler King Jammy, the event will also include performances from Jamaica’s Assassin, Spice, Lisa Hyper, and Tifa, and Brooklyn’s Kranium, Ricky Blaze, Mixpak Sound, and Federation Sound.
