It's actually a shame blink-182 reunited. Mark and Travis began something great with this release. The songs were brilliantly written (Mark's lyrics were better than ever) everything was structured well and flowed effortlessly on top of being well recorded and produced. 8 years after buying this album it still holds up. With Neighborhoods the production quality dropped, the lyric quality dropped (Tom's fault), the singing quality dropped and again the culprit is Tom who sings on the majority of that album (despite Mark being the better singer)! Tom's singing voice sounds like a robot these days thanks to his love of melodyne pitch correction. Then you have the Dogs Eating Dogs EP which is another drop on all the above mentioned things. It's sad 'cause for 1 album Mark and Travis proved they could stand on their own and release brilliant music in a new band away from Blink-182. Who know's what growth they would've shown on a 2nd +44 album.
