Tarot is one of the best and most coherent melodeath albums ever made, culminating in the most epic, beautiful 20 minute journey in the genre. If I'm still alive 40 years from now, I'll still be listening to this album. They made something truly special

A lot of negativity over Redneck Vikings from Hell. I was pretty disappointed on first listens but the album really grew. Sure, it is a mishmash of ideas but almost all of them work and make the album a joyful ride that keeps surprising. Also special note on the lyrics, surprisingly well made and relatable. Good lyrics always add so much more depth. One Hollow Word jumped among the best tracks of the year after digging in to its lyrics. The finale of One Hollow Word really is something else.

Personally it's between Aether Realm and Katatonia for my biggest disappointment of the year thus far. I can't decide.

I respect the new direction a ton, the production is poop and many of the ideas fall flat. They had to shed the Wintersun worship eventually, but I'm not sure trading it for Ensiferum/CoB worship was the answer. If this had been two EP's, one heavy one experimental it would be an excellent combo. Together it's just a janky record that's worse as a whole than the individual parts.

New single is really different than their previous releases, although I'm expecting something like Tarot from the new album, but ngl, Goodbye is really dope.

Redneck Vikings From Hell - Out May 1st. First single "Goodbye" is quite different from anything on Tarot, but a catchy tune nonetheless. Consider me stoked.

First album really gives me some feels that I can't explain. It's like nostalgia mixed with hope or something like that. Tarot went in a different direction but still a phenomenal album. Love this band!

Love this band. Can’t believe they’re from right here in NC. They’re a better CoB and Ensiferum than CoB and Ensiferum themselves these days.

Some guy I know recommended this band to me so I checked them out and I can honestly say that don't like them. Finnish metal rip off and they don't come close to sounding like the mighty Wintersun so stop comparing them.

One of my greatest discovery of 2013. Usually I don't listen to American stuffs. Seems these guys have pulled out some of the finnish melodies which I hadn't coming. Sounds a lot like Wintersun. One thing unique about this band is they have pulled out the Finnish melodic death metal in their style. I adore every single song from their full length album! Which was mind blowing. As well the vocal sounds like Jaari (Wintersun). Didn't expect such great folk stuffs from the US!

Dude, you sound so neat and awesome with a reckless riff that makes me headbang. Nice vocals, very constant and with a great quantity of energy and feeling. Keep it Metal, and BTW the "Æ" is so badass, haha x) Hails from Mexico!

Strangely sort of reminds me of early (Return Of The Vampire Lord-era) Nokturnal Mortum.
