The band performed its first concert in Ankara in November, 2002 and attracted more attention with proceeding concerts in Ankara between 2003 and 2004.

In May of 2003 they had an opportunity to prove themselves to a larger audience by joining the "Fanta: Genç Yetenekler Aramızda" (Fanta: Young Talents Are Among Us) festival. After a succesful run in the prelims, they moved forward to the national stage. With the entire country of Turkey watching they made it to the finals and won the song contest in front of a jury consisting of some of the most famous Turkish musicians, namely Melih Kibar, Meltem Taşkıran, Teoman, Levent Yüksel and Engin Akıncı. After the contest, still as an amateur band, they were invited to a tour covering 17 cities during which they performed to an audience of 350,000. In 2005 they released their first album "Y.O.K." and are still continuing to perform to a steadily growing fan base.
