Biography
Χάσμα (pronnounced Haz-ma, translation: Chasm) is an independent punk rock band from Pyrgos, Ilias, Greece. They were formed in 1994, the same year that they had their first concert in Pyrgos, supporting the band Panx Romana.
The band lineup consists of: Antonis Apostolopoulos (Vocals), Giorgos Pavlidis (Vocals/Guitar), Giorgos Zaglis (Bass), Giannis Giannakopoulos (Drums/Vocals).
Their first release was a demo cassette entitled Όλοι Τόσο Μόνοι (All so Alone) back in 1996. 2 years later came their next LP release in CD form called Τα Χρώματα Του Μίσους (The Colors of Hate). In 2000 they released the album Αντεκδίκηση (Reprisal) and in 2003 the album Κάθε φορά που άλλος γίνομαι (Everytime that I'm becoming another). All of their releases are independently produced. They have also participated in many independent compilations with their songs.
They have so far given countless independent and togetherness concerts all around Greece.
Rumors want Χάσμα recording a new album and releasing it soon.
