Biography
Anj is a russo-kazakh hard rock band, formed by vocalist and guitarist Anatoly Zhuravlev. Anatoly, formerly a successfull businessman, moved to Russia and founded the band entitled in his honour. He's the author of all Anj music and lyrics. Anj released two studio albums - "Pod Pristalnim Pritselom" and "1000 Mil po Pryamoy" - and numerous videos. They was a supporting band in UDO's Russian tour.
The band is very contraversional due to its excessive publicity and self-hype. Anj's detractors has labeled them "Oligarch Metal", claiming that the band is just a rich Zhuravlev's hobbie, provided with his money.
