Biography
Оля и Монстр was a darkwave band formed in Odessa, Ukraine in 2004 by former participants of band Аэроплан which has broken up in December, 1999. It consisted of: Alexey "Monster" Radionov (programming, keyboards, guitar) and Ольга Пулатова (keyboards, vocal).
Their debut album was recorded and released in 2007, and was simply called "Оля и Монстр". It also featured violin by Ekaterina Sokolova.
They disbanded in August 2008, after Alexey's dissatisfaction with the fact that Olga began playing with Moscow post-rock band Verba and using the mixed version of song "Сны деревьев" in their performance without notifying him.
Following the split, Olga continued to play with Verba in a project called Verba feat. О. Пулатова and Alexey formed his own instrumental project ULTRAMINOR.
