Takemura Kiriko (竹村 桐子; born January 29, 1993 in Nishitōkyō, Tokyo, Japan), known by her stage name Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ), is a Japanese fashion model and singer. Her public image is associated with Japan's kawaisa and decora culture centered in the Harajuku neighborhood of Tokyo. Her music is produced by musician Yasutaka Nakata of electronic music duo Capsule. She models for fashion magazines such as KERA and Zipper. Kyary is known to have a very funny and comedic personality, often sharing photos of herself making funny faces via her Twitter, Instagram and blog.

Her debut mini-album もしもし原宿 (Moshi Moshi Harajuku) was released August 17, 2011 and produced by 中田ヤスタカ (Nakata Yasutaka of capsule). Prior to the mini-album, she released her lead single "PONPONPON" in July 2011 as a digital download worldwide via iTunes, as well as a cover of "jelly."

Kyary released two singles (her first two physical singles), Candy Candy and つけまつける (Tsukema Tsukeru), prior to the release of her debut full-length album, ぱみゅぱみゅレボリューション (Pamyu Pamyu Revolution), which was released May 23, 2012. The limited edition version of the album comes with a 64-page photo-book taken in Los Angeles, as well as a bonus DVD with music videos and two live videos taken from the "Moshi Moshi Quattro" live, held on February 25, 2012 at Shibuya's Club Quattro. The album debuted at #1 on the US iTunes Electronic chart, France iTunes Electronic chart, Belgium iTunes Electronic chart and the Japan Oricon daily chart.
