Biography
Yukana (ゆかな, born January 6, 1975 in Futtsu, Chiba, Japan) is a Japanese voice actress, singer, and narrator. Her full name and previous stage name before April 2001 is Yukana Nogami (野上ゆかな). She studied at Kimitsu High School, Kenritsu, Chiba and Keio University's department of law. She began voice acting in 1993 and singing in 1996. Her most notable voice roles include Azusa Noyama (Azuki-chan), Yuri/Angel Lily (Wedding Peach), Meiling Li (Card Captor Sakura), Miho Nosaka (Yu-Gi-Oh!), Tsubaki (Pokemon), Kanna (Inuyasha), Teletha Testarossa (Full Metal Panic! series), and Isane Kotetsu (BLEACH). She also recorded voiceovers for TV commercials. She stopped voice acting to go to New York for 6 months in the fall of 1999 and continued when she returned to Japan in the spring of 2000. Since 2012 she has also revived her singing activities.
