It exudes such a calm radiant shimmering white divine light which is so cool considering pop at the time focused on being loud scuzzy and zany

Her worst? No I think this is her best and most coherent album. I love Distance and Ultra Blue because they have my favorite Utada songs, but they don't flow as well from beginning to end as Heart Station imo. I'll admit I don't really like Flavor of Life and Stay Gold, they're kinda boring to me, but all the rest is perfect!

Solid album that really grew on me over time. Listening to it felt like I was listening to an even more adult Hikki who came back to her own music with a different kind of maturity. In fact, I ended up seeing an interview with her where she described the album the same way. It's interesting how that came across through her music. But I still don't think it's better than Ultra Blue. Doesn't matter, though.

There's a point to abrupt ending of テイク 5 the song is about death and dying. Since death happens suddenly, out of the blue and without warning that's why it ends immediately.

Nice album, the best for me. More simple, but the songs are always beautiful.

It may not be as good as Ultra Blue but it's still better than 90% of most albums.

Whaaat? Definitely NOT a 10/10 album. It does have some pretty good songs (Fight the Blues, BW, Kiss & Cry) but it's so incoherent and frankly, just LAZY: including two versions of Flavor of Life was unnecessary, the abrupt ending of Take 5 and ぼくはくま after it totally kills the momentum (plus it's a stupid children's song and it's so out of place on the album it's not even funny). "HEART STATION" (song) has to be her dullest single ever and I find most of the songs quite uninteresting, especially in the second half of the album... It's not even a great album, let alone a masterpiece, ULTRA BLUE was one of my favorite pop albums of the decade but this album doesn't even hold a candle to it.

Definitely a 10/10 album. [22] Every album Hikki releases are masterpieces, but this is a definition of perfection as well. <3 [2]
