Asami Kobayashi (小林麻美 Kobayashi Asami born November 29, 1953 in Ota, Tokyo, Japan) is a former Japanese pop singer, model, and actress.
She is best known for her song 雨音はショパンの調べ which was a huge hit across Japan, giving Kobayashi her first #1 single based on the Oricon charts.
