Katsu Hoshi (Katz Hoshi, 星勝; born on 19 Aug 1948) Japanese composer and guitarist. Ex-member of The Mops. He also wrote scores for motion pictures including Mamoru Oshii's "Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer" and Isao Takahata's "Only Yesterday" (Studio Ghibli).
