Biography
Koharu Kusumi (久住小春, born July 15, 1992 in Niigata Prefecture, Japan) is the seventh generation member of Morning Musume chosen in the Morning Musume Audition 2005 . Starting April 7, 2006 Koharu provided the voice for the bubbly main character Tsukishima Kirari in the anime version of Kirarin Revolution. Her first single Koi*Kana debuted at #12 on the Oricon single chart with 18,125 copies sold within the first week. With this single, she surpassed some of the established solo artists' singles under the Hello!Project label such as Goto Maki's "Ima ni Kitto…In My LIFE" (which sold 17,635 in the first week) and Abe Natsumi's "The Stress" (which sold 11,708 in the first week.)
On on 3/27/2009, Kirarin Revolution aired its final episode.
Kirari, Milkyway and SHIPS all graduated from the franchise, holding their final concert "Kirarin Revolution Final Live" at Nakano Sun Plaza on May 4th, 2009.
