Biography
睡蓮 (Suilen) is a electronic duo from Japan.
Their name 睡蓮 meaning water lily; (スイレン,Suiren,Suilen); comes from the chinese characters meaning "Sleeping Lotus".
The duo consists of 芍薬 (Shakuyaku) on vocals and electronics and 麻輝 (Maki), former guitarist and keyboardist of the Japanese Synthpop group SOFT BALLET; on guitar and electronics.
Their sound would be best described as mix of ambient, electronica, with gothic elements.
