Biography
BOYFRIEND (보이프렌드) is a six-member South Korean boyband under Starship Entertainment formed in 2011. The group consists of Donghyun ('89), Hyunseong ('93), Jeongmin ('94), Youngmin ('95), Kwangmin ('95) and Minwoo ('95). Their fans are called Bestfriends, and they are the labelmates of MONSTA X and WJSN.
In 2011, they released three Korean singles; "Boyfriend", "내 여자 손대지마", and "내가 갈게 (I’ll Be There)" respectively. In 2012, a mini album "Love Style" and a full length album "Janus", together with 2 Japanese singles "Be My Shine ～君を離さない～" and "キミとDance Dance Dance / My Lady ～冬の恋人～". In 2013, a repackaged of Janus entitled as "I Yah" was released on January 10, a third Japanese single entitled "瞳のメロディ" on March 27, and their first digital single entitled "On & On" on May 28, 2013. On March 26, 2014, Boyfriend's 4th Japanese single "My Avatar" was released. On June 4, 2014, Boyfriend's second mini album "Obsession" was released. Their third mini album "Witch" was released on October 13, 2014.
