Revisited their albums for the first time in 6 or 7 years. A lot of it is pretty bad but IV is definitely solid and still my favorite by a long shot. The ballads sound the least dated (or perhaps are just the easiest to digest) from their first two albums but III is just not my thing at all (though, I remember digging Classroom Idea back in the day ha). I remember thinking that their albums were so short. And while it would continue to be a trend with Seo Taiji's solo stuff, I guess I'd rather have that then albums that were too long.

That's because korean vowel 'ㅐ' consists of 'ㅏ'(a) and 'ㅣ'(i). Of course this is nonsense for some phonology things and for pronounciation, It's kinda odd attraction of Korean alphabet system... Most Koreans use 'ae' as 'ㅐ' now.

Speaking of which, what's up with Koreans writing ㅐ as 'ai'? Makes no sense... Should be 'ae'... Seo Taeji, Hyundae. Much better.

"it's jazzy, it's dancy, it's metally, it's rockenrolly, it's everything at all! " ... That's Taiji for you.
