FAVORITE (Hangul: 페이버릿 ), known pre-debut as Astory Girls, is a 6 member South Korean girl group that debuted on July 5th, 2017 under ASTORY Entertainment.
The members are Gaeul, Saebom, Seoyeon, Sugyeong, Junghee and Ahra.
Pre-Debut
Before debuting as part of Favorite, member Park Gaeul participated in South Korean reality competition show, Produce 101 season 1 which premiered on January 22, 2016. Gaeul initially was B ranked and placed at 87th place. She unfortunately was eliminated at the rank of C and placing at 52nd place.
Member Go Ahra had participated in Kpop Star 6 before debuting in Favorite. The show premiered on November 20, 2016. Ahra was under the YG trainee contestant list as part of YG Girls. She made it up to the semi-finals before getting eliminated.
Debut: 2017
The group debuted with the mini album My Favorite on July 5, 2017. The title track of the album was "Party Time". The album also contained tracks "Hello", "My Day" and "온 힘을 다해" (Eun himeul dahae. With All My Might/Try Everything).
2018
Favorite released their second mini album Loves Loves To Love Love on May 9, 2018. The title track of this album was "Where are You from?" (어느 별에서 왔니?, eoneu byeoleseo wassni). The album also contained the tracks "It's Mine"(딱 내꺼, ddak naeggeo), "Liar" and "Heart Signal" (하트시그널, hateu sigeunal).
2019
On January 15, 2019, the group's 3rd mini album LOCA (로카) was released with the title track being "LOCA" (로카). Other tracks on this album are "Fancy", "Hush" and "Two of us".
