Huh Gak (허각) (born January 5, 1985) is a singer from Incheon, South Korea signed to A Cube Entertainment, a sub-label of Cube Entertainment. He won the second season of the South Korean singing competition, "Superstar K" (슈퍼스타K), in 2010. He has four number one hits to his name, 언제나 ("Always"), 나를 잊지 말아요 ("Don't Forget Me"), Hello and I Need You. He was named Best Newcomer and Best New Male Artist at the 2011 Melon Music Awards and MNet Asia Music Awards respectively. He won his first award on a music show on KBS' Music Bank for "Hello" on 30 September 2011.

Huh Gak came from a difficult family background. He has a twin brother, 허공 (Huh Gong), who is also a singer. His parents divorced when he was young leaving his father to take care of him and his brother. He dropped out of middle school to make money for his family and undertook many money-making schemes to secure an income before he auditioned for Superstar K in 2010. During his audition, the judges were moved to tears by his story and superb vocal ability. He quickly became the popular choice for viewers throughout the season's run leading his to victory. He was awarded 200 million won, other cash goods as vehicles and production support for his recording contract as his prize as the winner. He also secured a place at the MNet Asia Music Awards (MAMA) for that year.

He released his first digital single, 언제나 ("Always"), on October 4, 2010 which debuted at number 1 on GaOn, Korea's official chart. His first mini-album, "허각 1st 미니앨범", was released on November 16, 2010. The album is notable for a collaboration with fellow Superstar K competitor, John Park.

Shortly after, he signed with A Cube Entertainment, a sub-label of Cube Entertainment which houses other K-pop powerhouses like Beast, 4minute and G.NA. Prior to the release of his second mini-album, his contribution to the soundtrack of MBC's The Greatest Love, 나를 잊지 말아요 ("Don't Forget Me"), (released on June 1, 2011) became a number one hit. On September 16, 2011, he released his second mini-album "LIKE 1st MINI ALBUM `First Story`" to great success. The title track, Hello, became his third number-one hit and gained him his first win on a music show on KBS' Music Bank on 30 September 2011. He followed it up with the "sequel" to Hello, " 죽고 싶단 말 밖에 ("I Told You I Want to Die"), on November 8, 2011. He also collaborated with LE of EXID on 그 노래를 틀때마다 which was released on December 9, 2011. During the year-end award shows, he was named Best Newcomer and Best New Male Artist at the 2011 Melon Music Awards and MNet Asia Music Awards respectively. He also joined the regular cast of KBS's Immortal Song 2 and placed first several times during the show.

In 2012, he released his third mini-album on April 3 called "Lacrimoso". The title track, 나를 사랑했던 사람아 ("Someone I Once Loved") is notable for the inclusion of labelmate, Son Na Eun of A Pink, in its music video. He followed that up with a duet single with 지아 (Zia) called "I Need You" which reached number 1 on Gaon Digital Singles Chart and Billboard K-pop Hot 100. A few weeks after, he released the continuation song of "Someone I Once Loved" - 아프다 ("It Hurts"). The music video again featured Na Eun.
