Biography
Speed/thrash metal act from Tokyo, Japan. Formed in 1984, Dementia is known for having several band members which played with famous other bands as well. The vocalist, named Shigeru "Giisu" Kosugi, is actually the original founder of Howling Bull Records. Yasushi "Taiji" Sawada played bass by legendary Japanese speed metal act X, heavy metal band Loudness, and many more. Yoshifumi "Hally" Yoshida played guitar in X as well, but he is also a longtime member of United. Drummer Uda is known from thrash acts Tokyo Yankees and Rommel. Bassist Toki also played in Rommel, next to Saver Tiger. Omii (guitar) is the only member who didn't had other band connections. Dementia released three vinyl singles, one EP, one demo and one live album.
