Killing All That Holds You is the second studio album by 10 Years, released in late 2004. It is their first album with Jesse Hasek on vocals. The songs “Wasteland”, “Seven”, “Rest”, “At a Loss”, “Silhouette of a Life” and “All White” originally appeared on an EP with the same name released in 2003. “Wasteland” and “Through the Iris” were later reworked and re-recorded for the band’s major label debut The Autumn Effect in 2005. The four live tracks were recorded on August 27, 2004 at the Disc Exchange West in Knoxville, TN. Killing All That Holds You has been re-issued twice: in 2013 with a pink/red cover, and again in 2017 with a black cover. It was produced and recorded by Travis Wyrick, with additional engineering done by Mike Dearing and 10 Years drummer Brian Vodinh.
