WANT is the major-label debut studio album by American electronic music duo 3OH!3. It was released July 8th, 2008 by Photo Finish and Atlantic. The bulk of the album was produced by the duo along with Matt Squire. Benny Blanco is credited for additional production on "DONTTRUSTME" and "RICHMAN".
"DONTTRUSTME" was released as the lead single on June 1st, 2008. The song became the duo's breakout hit, attaining major airplay rotation and propelling it to the top of US Mainstream Top 40. In its 23rd week charting week, the song reached its peak of #7 on the US Billboard Hot 100. By July 2011 it had been certified 3x Platinum.
"STARSTRUKK" was chosen as the second single on August 4th, 2008. A remix with American singer Katy Perry was promoted to US pop radio and had moderate success elsewhere, peaking within the top 10 of multiple countries, including the UK. It was certified Platinum later on.
"STILLAROUND" followed on December 8th, 2008 as the album's third and final single.
Regarding the album's title, Nathaniel Motte said, "I was texting my brother or something about the tracks we were making. At one point he texted me back, saying, ‘I want it.’ So I began telling him how cool they were, and he just texted me back ‘WANT, WANT!’"
