Biography
"A Boy Named Fido" began as a solo acoustic project for British singer/songwriter, James Randall.
After recording two acoustic EP's, "Dead Flowers and "The Attic" (Involving collaborations with friend and local producer Matthew Critchley) James began working on full band material with drummer Jon Miller. It was soon afterwards that a mutual friend of the pair, Bryn Faulkner, would return from Scotland to join the band on bass and the three began writing a batch of new songs, which they tested at local venues.
After only a year together, the band went on semi-permenant hiatus without releasing a full studio album.
James Randall is currently working on a new solo project "Depleted Geranium" and experimental, loop-based project "Feathered Edge" with Matthew Critchley.
It is also rumoured that James Randall is involved with the retro-electonic project "Solemn Camel Crew".
