i don't know why i took so long to listen to this one, i think it might be their best album. dustin's piano mixed with adam's drones obviously still remnant of stars of the lid make for one of the best contemporary classical albums i've heard

it's definitely their best! It is the most similar to SotL with a distinct, coherent beginning middle and end. Each subsequent album they've done has not met the standards that this one set IMO.

After listening to this album countless times, there's still so many stories to be found in these tracks. Steep Hills Of Vicodin Tears is a clear example of this. So much richness for those who pay attention and feel deeply.

Mediocre piano playing sometimes out of tune, short attempts of drone that just sound tedious and completely out of context. Apart from one song (slightly above average), completely forgot which one, this album achieves and contributes nothing to 'modern' or 'neo' classical.

excellent album in the vein of Brian McBride's The Effective Disconnect ... but I think it doesn't quite meet his standards.

I wasn't actually aware it was a leak I had been listening to, I feel kind of bad now.

Not a new release for me, but at least for once it's a valid suggestion. And yeah it's pretty amazing.
