Biography

A.R.T
…is the brainchild of two persons;

Anders Sundelin keyboards & vocals and Robert Forsell keyboards.

Despite the fact that
they use synthesizers exclusively, they set out to create some kind of
progressive rock.

…The beginning!
It all started in 2005 when Anders & Robert became tired of their former project.

…And now what?
…well, at the moment A.R.T are concentrating on recording an album!

Bio Anders:
…the early years!
Barely walking straight, Anders was already climbing every stage in sight, ”helping” the acts in his vicinity… - with varying results!

He discovered the power of the piano early on, listening to the works of: Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Fats Domino and somewhat later Elton John!

At age 7 Anders started his piano-lessons.
Since classical music never was his game, he soon got bored and started to play his lessons back by ear, rather then reading the charts.
His piano-teacher realized his ability to improvise and encouraged it.

When he was about 8 years old he heard a live-version of Deep Purple’s ”Smoke on the water”,
and freaked out when Jon Lord’s distorted organ-solo kicked in!!!
…it was time to grow

…the teens!
In his early teens, Anders started a band with some friends at school,
determined to become the ”local Deep Purple”
Since one can’t become a ”local Jon Lord” without an organ, such an instrument was purchased, not a Hammond B3, but anyway, it was a start!

Time passed by and so did many local bands that he played in, but all of a sudden there was a new buzz in the air…
Once again, it was time to grow…

…the synthesizers!
The next thing to happen was the digital revolution, making synthesizers ”affordable” compared to before.
For Anders this meant a Roland Juno-106, followed by a Korg Polysix,
both very basic but fully programmable polyphonic synthesizers.
