Biography

There are two acts using the name Adam Kadmon: a rapper and beatmaker on World Around Records and a Romanian metal band that broke up in 2001.

1) Adam Kadmon is an American rapper/producer, as well as a unique and mysterious character. Really unique: few emcees alive would describe themselves as a "Victorian space pimp." Really mysterious: after he delivered the tracks that became "Teslaphonics," he disappeared for a year and five months before anyone heard from him again.

In 2009, he's back and busier than ever. Adam Kadmon also builds his own music equipment and teaches himself new languages and instruments in his spare time, all of which lend to his trademark blend of aplomb and caustic wit.

2) Adam Kadmon was formed as a band and experiment in Ineu, a small town in Romania, sometimes during 1998(?).

Ciprian Bun (guitar), Nica Ulici (vocals), Raul Brandibur (bass), Adi Craciun (keyboard) and Florin Medrea(drums) brought into Adam Kadmon very different influences and ideas and used him as a vehicle for expressing some (or no) feelings (dread, hope, confusion and indifference to end-of-the-century Romania), coping mechanism and favorite pastime.

A couple of years of activity saw Adam Kadmon perform in Ineu (various dates with Arc Gotic, Terror Art, Radical din Val, Umbre Zidite, Haos, Guranii), Underground Timisoara Festival (2000, 2001), Pendul Evening (2001 with Arc Gotic, Vals Hedone, Radical din Val, Jolene, Grupul Contur).

The band drifted towards a permanent hiatus at the end of 2001.
