Biography

There are at least two artists with the name Adyta.

1. A Georgian / band (active from 2008 to present)
2. A Norwegian project (active from 2008 to present)

1. The roots of band Adyta goes to 2008, Tbilisi. At this time finally was formed the complement of members of the group. Each of them already had an experience in plying different bands. Also was determined the style, group will play - / .
For its three year existence, the group had seen and played almost every concert platform in Tbilisi, including annual festival JAM Open Air 2009 and during this time has found set of fans. Adyta has taken active part in charity actions, performed for victims of armed conflict in Georgia, August, 2008.
In september 2010 Adyta had played on the international music festival "Children Of The Night 2010" in Kiev with a great furore. Shortly after that in their home city Tbilisi on international music festival "Tbilisi Blitzkrieg Metal Fest 2010".
For the present time group finishes working on the materials for its first album and looks for the Label.

2. The Norwegian symphonic metal project, Adyta, was founded in 2008, by Joakim Severinsen who had left Mortiferia to pursue his own goals. Adyta can be referred to as with female vocals and the music contains elements from film, folklike music & extreme metal. The name Adyta is a Latin word which refers to something that is not to be entered. After rehearsing with various musicians Joakim had not found the right ones and Adyta still remained a bandproject. Luckily he got in contact with Melissa Ferlaak, former Visions of Atlantis and Aesma Daeva singer, who agreed to appear as the EP's main vocalist. The Rose Of Melancholy EP was released independantly in May 2009.
