I think I like how that guitar plucking/effect is utilized better on Ghosts of the Midwinter Fires but this is still a gorgeous, emotionally heavy song.

Flawless song. Not a single bad moment in this whole album actually. The piano outro is one of the saddest, yet most beautiful things I've heard in a while. It really is incredible.

Yeah this is probably my second favorite Agalloch track. The outro is one of my favorite things in the entire world.

Love the ending, I always imagine the last sounds to be a wooden box closing - goes along well with the album artwork - it's like you can literally hear the album closing. [3]

It's not the same as the intro on Ghosts of the Midwinter Fires, it's merely the same type of guitar sound/plucking being done.

3:16 = Intro of Ghosts of the Midwinter Fires. I don't believe it's an coincidence, someone knows why it's the same?
