Al Mukawama, musical group formed by Luca " 'or Zulù" Persico, J Pope (founders and former members of the 99 Posse) and Perch (dubmaster rhythm and soul of Zion Train).. The name of the group derives from an Arabic word in Italian which means "The Resistance", chosen as the antithesis to the racist vision of Arabic Muslim automatically associated with terrorism and fundamentalism.
. The group aims to music combined with powerful political messages of strong opposition to economic discrimination and the war, watching with admiration for the office of vital groups of resistance Palestinians and Chiapas, and closer to the philosophy dictated by the movement No Global..

Currently, the assets have a solo album entitled Al Mukawama name of the band, released in January 2003, the disc is sung in five different languages: Italian, Neapolitan, English, Arabic and Spanish. La musica comprende una miscela di rap , dub e reggae . The music includes a blend of rap, dub and reggae.
