Biography

Alan Trench is a composer and musician probably best known as a member of the English Dark Folk Band ORCHIS with Tracy Jeffery and Amanda Prouten (albums: The Dancing Sun; A Thousand Winters; Mandragora; Trait). He is also a member of Twelve Thousand Days ( with Martyn Bates of Eyeless In Gaza) (albums: The Garden Of Wild Stars; The Devil In The Grain; From The Walled Garden), J Greco's S.Q.E., Gordon J Watson's Ebowla; prog psych weirdos Cunnan and with Steve Robinson and Chris Patinios experimental drone merchants Temple Music (albums: Volume 1; Songs Of Absolution; Volume 2; Incompleteness; The Green Man Project (7 CD)). Founder of World Serpent Distribution, he has also contributed to Nurse with Wound and Current 93 albums. He was born in Helston, Cornwall, in 1958 and, not yet dead, lives in Evia, Greece and East Lindsey, England
