Biography
A singer-songwriter from East Sussex and a self-taught musician, Alexander has been writing since adolescence but only in the confines of the four walls he calls his bedroom. It wasn’t until 2019, he began to break the fourth wall and released his debut song, Blizzard, to his growing online audience. Emboldened by the reception, Alexander decided to continue working on music, greatly inspired by Bon Iver, Gabrielle Aplin and BANKS, collaborating with producers to help achieve a far more polished sound than before, and most importantly, a sound that is precisely Alexander Mountain.
On May 27th 2021, Alexander released his third single, Streetlights The single saw overwhelmingly support from fans and music blogs, commending its showcase of vulnerability and Mountain’s musicianship. The track also received support from BBC Introducing with additional airplay on other local radio stations.
