This truly is the best supergroup to ever exist, what an incredible trilogy so far!

i don't like death metal much anymore, dunno what happened (was a big fan), but i almost exclusively listen to bm now, but i stumbled across cthulhu today, and i fucking can't stop listening to it. this song is sooo gloomy, heavy, and beautiful

This group deserves so much more attention; Whether from their technical skills, the interesting song structures, the fun lyrics or even just because Cthulhu fuckin' rocks.

another unique example of the similarity of intensive bass usage in whole greatest releases.

Azagthoth and Cthulhu are two of the few songs I know to really do the Great Old Ones justice. Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn!

The songwriting and the production of Liquid Anatomy sounds more independent to me. I really love the debut but The Malkuth Grimoire sounds a lot like Obscura. Now I hope for a European Tour.

Morean did Vocals on both Hannes Grossmann solo albums, too. Plus he has a progressive Thrash Metal band called Noneuclid where he plays guitar and vocals

I love how the melody from "Mining the Oort Cloud" sneaks into "Chaos Theory and Practice."

If you guys buy Liquid Anatomy, I highly recommend ordering the CD. They threw in a bonus CD from two members of Borknagar absolutely free!

They're not Alkaloid b-sides or anything like that, I meant CDs from other bands. Cronian was a cool bonus.

Can you point me to some great tech-prog death? Because currently The Malkuth Grimoire is one of my favorite albums and if it's only average then I want to hear what I'm missing.

Gorod, Obscura and Necrophagist are awesome, but how can you call this mediocre???

At least in Alkaloid there are members of Obscura, and they got a huge load of Obscura riffing and sound

I'm late catching up with some releases. But I am glad I didn't miss the Malkuth Grimoire (2015) release! It features divergent ingredients combined, in a mature manner, although retaining it's dynamics. I hope that they can release another epic album, or EP.

I find the Dyson Sphere tracks near abysmal. But overall this is a solid album!
