Biography
Born in Vermilion, Alberta, Amber has been singing, playing the piano and writing songs for most of her life. Her talent has finally collided with the necessary industry connections, ensuring forward movement in the development of her career as an artist. With the personal endorsement of country star George Canyon, she released her first single to radio, Buy Your Tears in July, 2010.
With a beautiful voice, the grit of Bonnie Raitt, the sleek beauty of Carrie Underwood, and the soulful calm of Norah Jones, Amber is destined to move any heart through music. Her country roots and soulful pop flare create a unique sound, evoking a range of emotions and fans.
Amber broke into the business about year and a half ago as a keyboardist/back-up vocalist for Jesse Farrell. She has played at various festivals and venues while touring the country, and appears in Jessie's CMT video, You Make Me Feel.
Recently signed to the label Broken Pick Records, Amber has been writing and recording with George Canyon, whom she will be opening for this tour season. Her career is destined to reach new heights, so purchase a copy of "Buy Your Tears" off iTunes and stay tuned for her full album to follow.
