Biography
Andie is an singer-songwriter known for her original songs which feature her jazzy, finger-picking guitar style, and soulful voice. The Australian native got her start with music by uploading original songs and covers to her youtube channel, iwantaltitude. Her first release, deciduous*, recorded when she was 18 and funded by a Kickstarter campaign, was released in 2015. Her second release, one foot in the grave, released in 2017, was also funded by a Kickstarter campaign and featured session musicians accompanying her original acoustic songs with drums and bass. In early 2019, she dropped classic andie, which featured live recordings of her older songs and some new songs. In mid-2019, she took to Kickstarter again to fund her next release, the tiny album, which was officially released in March of 2020.
In late 2017, she bought a van that she converted into her home and has lived in various vans/buses ever since, traveling around various parts of Australia. She has a series on her youtube channel called "vandie" where various independent Australian musicians perform their original songs live in the back of her van.
