In 2006, Andrew Douglas Rothbard released his first solo record, Abandoned Meander. The Abandoned Meander album was the first in a proposed five-record series attempting to outline the Discordiant concept of the "law of fives", composed of the themes Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis, Parenthesis, and Paralysis. Abandoned Meander, representing the first stage, found Thesis manifesting chaos, yet protected by Goddess Eris, codified by Hexagram 2 of the I-Ching, and directed entirely toward Yin energies. Eris lived on the planet Venus, and her Tarot card appeared as the High Priestess Trump II. The follow-up to Abandoned Meander, Exodusarabesque, represents the battle of an astrological bi-polarity: Aquarius; Leo rising. The album is also inspired by the Illuminati's second stage of life, Antithesis, also known as Discord, which is overseen by the God Osiris. Hexagram 1 of the I-Ching, the planet Mars, the zodiac sign Pisces, and the Tarot card 'The Hanged Man' all play prominent and distinctive roles within the new album. The 13 tracks for 'Exodusarabesque' were recorded at Drop City 2 Studios, in San Francisco California. As with the first album of the series, all music was composed, performed, engineered, and produced by Andrew Douglas Rothbard.
