San Andreas is truly a very good action score, Andrew Lockington is one of my favorites now

Wow Andrew really knows how to compose! None of his tracks are boring! I try to keep an open mind beyond the crap (Modern Pop) we hear on the radios in our time, and like to listen to compositions (scores) from films and what not. But his sticks out. He did a better job than Christophe Beck on the first Percy Jackson. No offense, but I never really "cared" for the OST. But for Sea of Monsters, I'm going to be spinning this a lot more often now :)

About Nicholas Dodd - he was both the orchestrator and conductor on "Amber" and "Journey." That's why he might end up in the 'artist' field in some tags. The orchestrator is pretty much responsible for what the music is going to sound like, that's why both Lockington's and Dodd's own scores resemble the style of David Arnold, who has collaborated with Dodd on all of his major projects, so much sometimes.

"Building the Raft" from Journey to the Center of the Earth and "One Last Message" from City of Ember are possibly the two most epic orchestral tracks I've heard in a very long time. Brilliant.
