In the last decade Andy Whitby has blazed a trail show stopping sets, jaw-dropping productions and numerous best-selling Ministry of Sound Euphoria albums, contributing to him becoming one of the most popular and downloaded artists on the Hard Dance Music industry.
From sell-out tours of the UK, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada, America, Russia and Spain to name just a few, he has become known for his love of three deck mixing, big vocals and monstrous basslines, ensuring every mix is heavily layered with FX, chops, loops and acapellas.
The winner of Best DJ, Best Resident and Best Album multiple times at Trackitdown.net’s Hard Dance Awards, Whitby has also recently been made Hard Dance Music Editor for the World’s biggest clubbing magazine Mixmag, reviewing the hottest new HDM tracks and albums available every month.
As hard a worker in the studio as he is behind the decks, Whitby’s string of releases over the last decade include past classics ‘Hardhouse Slut’, ‘Mindblowing’ and ‘Rock It’ all the way through to modern floor bangers such as ‘Until The Grave’, ‘Bass So Loud’, ‘Money Maker’ and ‘Fresh Tactics’.
Hot on the heels of his AWsum brand, famed for its events at Ministry of Sound, Air in Birmingham and Hidden in London, Whitby has launched a new brand to cater for all those with a thirst for tougher sounds. HARD encapsulates many things; WE LOVE IT HARD events, record label and leading clubbing group TEAM HARD.
