Biography

Artinair is a rock band based in Vancouver, Canada and is made of three original members, Kate Devlin (lead vocals), Don Masakayan (guitar), Jon Baritugo (bass) and Tayla Clarke (keys/vocals).

Formed in 2009, Artinair’s music is growing in popularity as fans are beginning to recognize their sound. Described by rock lovers as the missing link between Alanis Morissette’s smooth voice and Gwen Stefani’s dynamic chords, Artinair’s rock vibe is consummated by fusing the sounds of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ and Incubus’ guitar and bass lines.

2011 has been a big year for Artinair as the release of their EP1: Following Alice (produced by Joe Cruz), drew a sold out crowd at The Media Club. Performing original songs, Artinair had fans, new and old, dancing and screaming for more.

Riding the success of their EP1, Artinair is preparing to go on tour in the Kootenay Rockies to bring their music to western British Columbia. Stay connected with Artinair at their official website www.theartinair.com, as they share their blogs throughout the tour.

Follow Artinair (www.facebook.com/artinair) as the group begins more song writing for the recording and production of their highly anticipated EP2: Eyes, set to release early/mid/late 2012.
