The Grandson of a Reverend. Arty McFly brings his sermon from the pulpit to the vocal booth. Smart hails from the South side of Central New Jersey. A vet since 1993, His music is inspired from the streets and his own personal experiences. His recordings often mix influences of reggae, soul, jazz and rock. Smart is well known for his rapidly changing and often experimental vocal style, obscure Central NJ and cultural references and highly intelligent, topical lyrics.
