Audax is a new band from Ghent, Belgium. Genre: Rock

We’re a band from Ghent, who, before we transformed in the musicians we’re now, had to change a lot. One year ago, the 5 musicians present in this band would never even think they would be playing together as they do now. At first there was Attix, a little band with Lennart, Liza, Jason (respectively the guitarist, bassist and pianist of Audax) together with Jente Lachaert at the drums and Sofie Van de Velde, our singer.
At the same moment, Lennart had a band named Audax. Thomas Coene (drums) introduced Lennart to Audax, with Cederic Godderis at bass guitar. They tried a lot of singers, but soon it was clear that Eva Mertens was the chosen one to join Audax. When later Cederic decided to quit the band, we had to search for another bass player and soon the solution was clear: Attix was at a long big pause (the drummer left) so we just mixed the two bands!! The best of both worlds. We mingled them to one wonderful mix of musicians. This 5 fine musicians make Audax and if we lost just one, the spirit would be gone.
