Avenged Sevenfold is the fourth studio album by American rock band Avenged Sevenfold, released on October 30, 2007 by Warner Bros. Records. The album, originally slated for an October 16 release, was delayed by two weeks in order to provide more time to complete bonus material and production for the record, including the making of a cartoon. The album debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200. At its current status, Avenged Sevenfold has sold over 485,000 copies in the US and over 700,000 copies worldwide. On September 23, 2008, the album was certified gold by the RIAA.
In 2007 Almost Easy reached #1 on the UK Rock Chart, #3 on US Mainstream Rock, #6 on US Modern Rock, #67 on UK Singles Chart, & #106 on US Hot 100.
In 2008 Afterlife reached #3 on US Rock Chart, #11 on US Mainstream Rock, #20 on US Modern Rock, & #197 on UK Singles Chart. Scream reached #125 on US Hot 100. Dear God has currently reached #16 on US Mainstream Rock.
