“10,000 Emerald Pools“ is a promotional single and first track overall to BØRNS' debut studio album Dopamine.
Garrett uses the strange address of his producer’s mom’s house “10,000 Emerald Pools St., Las Vegas” as a visual descriptor of the water he is metaphorically diving into for his lover.
“I was writing with my good friend Kennedy and I had this idea for a song about these two people that go on vacation and fall in love underwater while everything is in slow motion around them. Kennedy was like “Yeah, let’s go with it. Oh, by the way, my mom’s address is 10,000 Emerald Pools in Las Vegas!”“
