“ZIPPER” is an energetic, stand-out cut for BROCKHAMPTON. It gets its name from Little Big Planet character ‘Sackboy,’ the main melody comes off the game’s soundtrack, which in turn is a sample of “Call It Fate, Call It Karma” by The Strokes.
The song was originally teased on November 29, 2017, a few weeks before release, in an Instagram live stream by Kevin Abstract..
The music video was released exclusively through the BROCKHAMPTON app, and features the members rapping into several reflective surfaces.
