Babaganoüj (pronounced "babba-gah-noosh") are an Australian indie-pop band from Brisbane, Queensland. The band is comprised of vocalist/guitarist Charles Sale, vocalist/bassist Harriette Pilbeam, lead guitarist/vocalist Ruby Macgregor and drummer Jack Gleeson. Both Pilbeam and Macgregor were formerly in the band Go Violets; while Sale was formerly the guitarist and keyboardist in Yves Klein Blue. The band formed in 2011, releasing their demo in May of that year. Their initial lineup featured Sale, Pilbeam and original drummer Peter McDowell. The band's debut EP, Sife Lucks, was released in March 2013. The CD version of the EP is currently out of print. Shortly after the EP's release, McDowell left the band and was replaced by Gleeson. In June 2013, Macgregor joined the band as a second guitarist. This lineup of the band recorded and released a new song, Shitty Christmas, in December 2013; as well as a seven-inch, Too Late for Love, in March 2014. The band also released a new single, Bluff, in July 2014.
