Just found these guys, might be too soon to make a judgement but from the first couple songs it's like what the beatles would sound like if they were a little sadder and were born in the 90s

So there are basically three profiles now being used for the Australian "The Babe Rainbow", partly thanks to a fuckup at Spotify who forget the "the" in the bandname, causing this profile to actually be the most active one (in fact, the entire top 10 is taken over by the Australian band). These are the other two: https://www.last.fm/music/The+Babe+Rainbow+(AUS) https://www.last.fm/music/The+Babe+Rainbow Note that the one that is actually correct (the bottom one) is also the one with the least amount of plays. It's really strange to live in a streaming-centric online world; you can't even tell people to fix their tags anymore.

I looked into it and its not upto Spotify to fix artist name. Fixing that metadata rests on the label or distributor.

This provides another exit from the monotone meanderings of a lot of dubstep. On one side we have the day-glo psychedelia of the wonky sound. And now possibly another path, doomstep/sludgestep/decay. Something hinted at by the Distance/Metal mix of a couple of years ago.

Btw, I like this as much as Benga. Not by the likes of Burial and Four Tet but great none the less
