Banda Eva is the debut album of the Brazilian musical group Banda Eva, released in 1993 by Sony Music, the album also marks the debut of Ivete Sangalo as the band's vocalist. The highlight of the album was the hit "Adeus Bye Bye". Also noteworthy is the Pot-pourri by EVA, which recalls classics from the block in the 1980s: "Frevo Eva", "Eu Vou No Eva" and "Leva Eu", the latter two of which returned to success when they were re-recorded in the band's first two live CDs. The song "Adeus, Bye Bye" was one of the great hits of the 1994 carnival. Discovered by Maria Bethânia, the song entered the repertoire of the Soteropolitan concert of the singer's 25th anniversary tour, which ended up promoting Eva throughout the country.
