Since his early years Troopa has always been surrounded by music and different visuals. His father was one of the co founders of the electronic croup Inferno 5.
In 1998 Troopa bought his first turntable and was one of the trailblazers on the mixtape scene in Iceland. Not long after that he began producing beats on his Mpc 2000. A proud member of the Twisted Minds Crew ( TMC) he started to lay down beats for talented rappers like Rain and Mystic. He immediately got people attention for crazy drum patterns and novel sounds. Though only 25 years old he already been part of numerous protjects. He produced two Lp cassettes for Twisted Minds and made a really weird record with one of the most famous graff writers in Iceland, King Nores, an ep called Alpha Species. He has also been involved in solo projects with Rain and Mystic.
Troopa was a skater back in the day and he paid homage to the sport with beats for skate videos . He has also dropped two solo records and one vinyl. First but not least an Lp called Peaceful Thinking, the most popular instrumental record ever made in the Icelandic hip hop scene. followed by a dark electro acid ep Surprise Visit.
