very good band, but the last Full-length album was in 2011, many years have passed since then; WE NEED A NEW ALBUM!

amazing death doom...though I see and hear a clear Anathema influence, I have seen some people take quite large liberties on that. Going as far as saying that Frail is the album Anathema would have done after the silent enigma if they stayed more doom...They might have obvious influence and share similar elements, but naw. These guys have a special sound. they take the influence and run with it.

To those of you who enjoyed Frail, you should listen to Morgion's album Cloaked in Ages, Crowned in Earth.

This is absolutely one of the best doom metal acts! Could be compared to doom metal gods such as anathema or even my dying bride.

One thing all of us can agree on... this band is fucking great . "Be Mine" is definitely my favorite song .

Ah dumb me, I misunderstood and though that with "early" you meant "recent" but it's the opposite. I'm so sorry! But still, even if yeah, it's similar, Before the rain tends to more melodic stuff recently. :) I mean, Breaking the waves, for example, uses mostly clean vocals and has mostly clean parts. But well, I agree that the one you linked as the same feel than Before the rain's darker songs such as Frameless. Sorry again!

Early Anathama clone? Well, did you drink too much or something? Anathema is prog rock where Before the rain is doom metal, no common stuff in what they're doing, not the same feeling at all. You mean, "clone", wtf?

Even if Carlos d'Agua is gone, Frail has "Breaking the waves" which is one of the best doom metal songs I've ever heard. Give it a new try. :) At first I thought, like you, that it wasn't cool that vocalist changed. But the overall atmosphere of the songs remained the same, so I tried to dig a bit, and well, now I find it really amazing too. :)

Don't really like the new album, they miss Carlos D'agua on vocals. Even the lyrics aren't as nice and poetic as they were. Still has some good riffs though.

Well, to clean things up, maybe weaker but not weak at all. :) Perfect riffs in Frail, and also good clean vocals.

Agreed with a few people on here. The new album - meh. Their best work was the early stuff. ...And With The Day Dying Light

Being personally acquainted to Carlos (good old school/rock mate), and i've crossed ways w/ Valter lotsa times in my hometown but we never related or even spoken i think, i must say i was rather expectant w/ the new album. And i must say that i don't like it that much but i don't dislike it either. It's not really my BTR kind of sound but it's professional/technical enough to deserve my respect. Congrats.
